NOVEMBER 2000--Alex will be making an appearance at The Riverside Resort in Laughlin, Nevada on November 27th, 28th and 29th. There will be many other Western celebrities there. Alex's name is confirmed so far. If you would like to purchase tickets to this event, access the new link on the intro page or go to Jim Purdue's website.
APRIL/MAY 2000--Several things to report that are new! First of all, Alex spent Easter weekend at the Equestrian Center for Fiesta of the Spanish Horse. He got to ride a beautiful Andulusian. He said he felt like somebody in the ancient bullrings of Spain. It was pretty cool. Also, he was working in a film called AIR RAGE, but the title may be changed to PURPLE HEART. He plays a Marine Corps general presiding as a chief judge adjudant at a court martial. He's also the main antagonist. Also, Alex's book, now titled 'Feather In The Rain' is now out to several publishers, so let's all send forth some prayers and good wishes for this book to get to printing!
APRIL 2000--Here's another update. At the Hoosier Horse Fair where Alex was at this past week, he won yet another trophy, a bronze sculpture of a cutter working a cow. It was inscribed, "Hoosier Horse Fair 2000 CHAMPION." It was huge, fabulous Fair and Alex had a wonderful time there -- Alex said there were over 250 vendor booths, six and eight horse hitches pulling wagons, Clydesdales, Shires, Percherons and Belgians . . . sounds like a fun time to me! There were also clinics with Ray Hunt. The trip back was a bit long -- 14 hours total. Apparently, Alex had to wait for another plane in Houston because the one they were on had a problem or two. But he's back in L.A. now. Glad you had a great trip, Alex!
APRIL 2000--I received a brief message from Alex this week that he was headed out to Indianapolis to ride a quarterhorse in a Children's Hospital Benefit. I'll have more information to post next week.
FEBRUARY 2000--Alex is still working on re-editing his book, 'YES', and it will be going to his agent again soon. If you haven't already, read the excerpts posted above that Alex generously allowed to be posted.
SEPTEMBER 18 & 19, 1999--Alex has just returned from the Colorado Film Festival held over this past weekend. It started out as a small film festival but is now gaining in momentum and attention. The weather was wonderful and by all reports he had a wonderful time!
MARCH 1999--Ms. Duffy from The Witch Hazel Company was kind enough to reply to a
second e-mail I sent regarding when the pet products would be debuting on the Home Shopping Network. She still does
not have anything definitive from them, but again has promised to let me know when things develop. Alex appreciates
everyone's interest and says "thank you."
DECEMBER 1998--Back in October, Deb Drake shared the information that Alex would be
selling a line of pet products from The Witch Hazel Company on the Home Shopping Network scheduled for
January 1999. I have since been in contact with Debby Duffy of The Witch Hazel Company and she has informed
me that this has been pushed back at least three months. Debby has also assured me that as soon as she has
any further information, she will let me know. If you would like to visit The Witch Hazel Company, which

MAY 1998--Alex became a proud grandfather
on May 4, 1998 to twins, the day after his birthday! Their names are
Jake and Alex.
APRIL 1998--Alex's third novel, a book about cutting horses
entitled YES is currently being shopped around to various publishers.
Keep an eye out for it in the near future.
